Real Ghosts

Cohen, Daniel

Most of the accounts of ghosts presented here were taken from the files of the Society for Psychical Research. Cohen devotes one chapter to what he thinks is the best ghost story, the Lt. McConnell case. Next he describes the Hornby case, which he considers the worst case and he shows how it illustrates some of the problems involved in investigating cases. Also presented are the Cheltenham ghost, Katie King, spirit photography, the Exorcist, the Seaford case, and a case of retrocognition, An Adventure.
