More Haunted Houses

Bingham, Joan, & Riccio, Dolores

This travel guide to mysterious sites in the U.S. is for the general reader who wants to visit paranormal sites, but nonetheless it could be useful to more serious students. They not only catalogue hauntings but places where monsters have been seen on more than one occasion, or fires and lights of unknown origin, UFO sites, and anomalous aspects associated with archeological sites. The arrangement is geographical by region: The Pacific Coast (6), The West (7), The South Central States (13), The North Central States (4), The Southeast (10), and the Northeast (12). For each site the authors provide historical and current information, cite references, if possible, and give directions for visiting the site. They provide a list, with addresses, of organizations and individuals that may be of interest to readers and who were helpful to them.
