Parapsychology and Contemporary Science Dubrov, A.P., & Puskin, V.N.
This is a review of parapsychology through the eyes of two Soviet scientists that has not yet been published in the Russian language. There are three introductions, by Christopher Bird, Joseph Brozek, and William Tiller. The authors emphasize the importance of facts, holding that they are not in conflict with materialistic philosophy. They develop a new classification of psi phenomena based on space and time, materials and energetics, and field and force. Parapsychology is presented in six chapters in Part I as an aspect of psychology. Part II consists of five chapters dealing with the experimental psychology of paranormal phenomena, and the third consists of 11 chapters on the fundamentals of natural science and parapsychology. It describes the general future of psi and offers a theory to explain the nature of psi and the place of psi in contemporary science.
