Patterns of Prophecy

Vaughan, Alan

The author, a writer and a psychic specializing in precognition, reviews many prophecies—his own and those of others—concerning a variety of events in different contexts and states of consciousness, in an effort to search for patterns. He describes his own psychic development and his efforts to pinpoint prophetic elements, especially in dreams. He surveys all the major types of prophecy throughout history and concludes with a discussion of destiny and foreknowledge in which he offsets a theory of prophecy based on synchronicity and archetypal patterns.
