 This is an anthology of miraculous events drawn from different religious and geographic sources. A wide range of viewpoints are presented¯religious, anthropological, psychological, psychiatric, and parapsychological. There are 19 contributions, of which eight were previously published, the remainder having been written especially for this volume. Ebon, who has compiled many anthologies on parapsychology, sets the stage with an introductory chapter entitled "Man's Need for Miracles."
